The Financial Intelligence Agency operates under a structured governance framework with clear reporting lines from the Interministerial Committee through to operational divisions.

Governance Structure

The FIA operates under the oversight of an Inter-Ministerial Committee that provides strategic policy direction. A Technical Committee supports the Inter-Ministerial Committee with technical expertise and advisory functions. The Director, supported by the Deputy Director, leads the day-to-day operations of the Agency.

Reporting Structure

The Director reports to the Technical Committee. The Deputy Director and NRA Implementation & Outreach report to the Director. Six operational managers report to the Director. HR and Support reports to the Deputy Director. Ethics and Professional Standards has no Principal role.
